Privacy policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

Wordstack is a text-first blog. We do not run user accounts, and we do not ask you to create a profile. This policy covers the small amount of data that a public blog, optional advertising, and affiliate links can still involve.

Who runs this site

Wordstack is operated by Prayag Biswas. Contact: hello@wordstack.dev.

What we collect

If you email us, we see whatever you put in that message and the address you send it from. We use that only to reply. We do not sell email addresses or build a marketing list from them.

The site itself does not require cookies for reading posts. Hosting and CDN providers (for example Vercel) may process standard request logs such as IP address, user agent, and the page requested, for security and reliability.

Google AdSense

Wordstack may show Google AdSense ads in the future. Ads and the AdSense script load only when a publisher client id is set in NEXT_PUBLIC_ADSENSE_CLIENT. AdSense is not enabled on this deployment, so no AdSense cookies are set by Wordstack.

When AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can learn more and opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings and read Google's partner policy at How Google uses information from sites that use their services.

Affiliate cookies

If you follow an affiliate link — including Amazon Associates India or a software vendor program — that third party may set cookies so they can attribute a later purchase. Wordstack does not receive your payment details. See the affiliate disclosure for how those links work.

Analytics

This site does not currently embed a first-party analytics product. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any new tracker is added.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not create accounts or store passwords.
  • We do not invent advertising ids or drop fake ad units.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or disable personalized ads in Google's settings. Email us if you want a copy of, or a deletion of, anything you sent us directly.

Changes

If the way this site handles data changes — for example if AdSense is turned on, or a new affiliate program is added — this page will be updated with a new date.
